How To Make Mr Bean Chocolate Cake! / Classic Chocolate Cake recipe [Soft and Moist] Mr Bean Inspired Chocolate Cake

Soft and Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe

Classic Chocolate Cake Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (260g)
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50g)
1 tsp baking powder (4g)
2 tsp baking soda (8g)
1 tsp iodized salt
1 cup brown sugar (200g)
3/4 cup buttermilk (180ml)
2/3 cup canola/vegetable oil (160ml)
1/3 cup sour cream or plain yogurt (85g)
1 cup hot coffee (250ml)
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla

For Chocolate Ganache
500 grams dark compound chocolate
250ml all-purpose cream/heavy cream/double cream

For Chocolate Glaze
90g white chocolate buttons
10g milk chocolate buttons
50ml all-purpose cream/heavy cream/double cream

Notes:
-this cake is not too sweet, the sugar is already reduced but if you want more sweet you can add 1 cup white sugar
-buttermilk substitute
180ml milk + 1 tbsp lemon juice/white vinegar (mix and let it sit for 5 minutes)
– sour cream substitute
1/3 cup plain natural yogurt/greek yogurt
1/3 cup all-purpose cream/heavy cream/double cream + 1 tsp lemon juice/white vinegar (mix and let it sit for 5 minutes)
– for hot coffee (you can skip coffee if you dont like, just add plain hot water)
a cup of hot boiling water + 1 tbsp coffee powder
the coffee is to enhance the chocolate flavour (you wont notice the coffee flavour)
– eggs must be in room temp
– always check your baking soda/baking powder freshness before using
– you can skip the vanilla if you dont have
– please keep the cake in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set the ganache coating before glazing with the white chocolate ganache
– your oven must be preheated atleast 10 minutes at 160c
– you can steam this cake for 60 minutes in low heat

    Hi, wanna ask. Is it fine if i didn’t put the sour cream? I don’t have any yoghurt and I googled the substitute for sour cream other than yoghurt is to use buttermilk. The ingredients itself already have buttermilk, so should I double it or not?
