How to Make the Royal Wedding Cake
Full Recipe:

By popular request I give you my take on the royal wedding cake! I actually love lemon and elderflower so this was really a pleasure to recipe test and eat! The cake is light and fluffy but still moist and it’s filled with a homemade lemon curd and covered in elderflower Swiss meringue buttercream! It’s SO GOOD! I loved the look of the wedding cake but I thought it would be nice to have a spray of buttercream flowers on top. Not sure if they look more like peony or rose blossoms but either way I like em!

Wow. How expensive would that be if you bought that at a bakery? I probably would value that around 300 dollars myself (though I am not a professional baker yet) but its amazing that you teach people how to make stuff as amazing as this. Thank you.

Here in Germany we don't have cake flour but what you can do is for every cup you can remove a teaspoon of flour and replace it with corn starch. This will give more of a fluffy texture. In additions I've had a lot of success with adding an additional half teaspoon of Natron (in America you all call it baking soda). Typically then my cakes here in Germany come out like his do in the photos.
