Darren McGrady was the personal chef to Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Princess Diana, Prince Charles, and Princes William and Harry—a family with notoriously specific food needs—for 15 years. In 1998, he moved to the U.S.A. where he wrote best-selling cookbooks and founded Eating Royally, a fine-dining catering service based in Dallas, TX.
In the second installment of this limited series, Chef McGrady walks Delish through the royals’ favorite recipes from his Dallas test kitchen…while spilling all the most glorious royal tea. We talked all things Queen Elizabeth (again!) this time around.

Definitely making this.
I've literally watched this more then 10 times, make my day every time
Now that's a Classic Queen! True chocolate lover.
I did this for my dad and he LOVED it.It was quite easy to make .
This just looks like a cake from costas to me.
27:7
Does making it and eating it make you become a royal person too?
I accidentally read this as has been poisoned!
"The Queen only takes a tiny slice of chocolate cake." And this is why she's living into her 90's.
I don't how to say this but this lovely man is probably disowned by the Royal Family now. The royal family have this pact with their staff members that nothing is revealed about the royal family. This man has made a whole career outside of the royal family as "Royal Family Chef" and moved to Texas and gives dinners in the style of the royal family. Basically he has sold out on the royal family. One of the nanny's of Elizabeth and Margaret wrote a book about the little girls and she was shunned from the royal family afterwards.
Wow! Very decadent!

. . .
who is she :'D
(please don't attack me)
3:26 At this point I would use my hand too but not to mix it.. No no, To eat that Delicious mix.
Screw her…im the real queen and ill fight for that title 😊😇.
I think chocolate, chocolate, and chocolate are a wonderful combination.
I want that cake, now!!!! 😋
Does the queen know that this sir uses his hands to mix the batter?😶😶
(But i think sirs hands are 100% clean ya know)
This recipe is from Queen Victoria…..
It is a family recipe
Now I feel scared to make an out of context Queen Elizabeth account knowing that they can sue me.
xazazzazaxxxxxaxaxxax my grandma make this cake every week
i wouldn't be suprised if he is missing
For some reason, this feels illegal to watch
The royal chef: I don't know anyone that's had the same birthday cake, the same recipe every year.
My mom and her mango cake with peach jelly toppings and chocolate Krispies at the bottom:
Where’s the recipe for this!!:)
"This year she'll be 94 or 188"
Me: Yeah that seems about right
I'm surprised there was no "gold flakes"
prinsess diana …
I love how there are no videos of what the Duchess of Cornwall would eat. They must have had her eat outside with the farm animals.
Thats my kinda queen!! Chocolate chocolate & more chocolate, thats how I like my sweets too LOL! 👑💕
this feels ilegal to know
Mr. McGrady is always a pleasure to watch.
Why did I think the Queen was going to have a such a fancy cake for her birthday
Where are the measurements of the ingredients?
The queen has been protecting and enabling Andrew for years, she has no respect for the people she vowed to serve
Clearly, the Queen has never been to Portillos before…
