🛑 I’m Stephanie and behind the camera, you have my sister Cloud. I started cooking at 4 years of age. What?! Yes (LOL) I pulled up a chair and my first choice was to fry an egg. I was hungry and that’s all I have to say about that experience. I would like to say I’m completely self-taught in the kitchen, but I have the lovely women in my family to thank. They taught me to honor my ancestors and to make my Mexican Cuisine comfortable for my home. I thank our creator for my curiosity and my never-ending search for the next gastronomic satiation. Cooking is a huge part of my daily life as I prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for my two American Korean/Mexican boys. I know who does that these days? Me, I homeschool my two boys and I’m grateful for every moment spent. ❤️ If you love our spectacular homemade recipes, Please take the time to Subscribe and support our channel. I used this recipe for my very first try at Mexican Tres Leches Cake, and it was a success! My family enjoyed the cake so much! I know you've since made another video, but this worked for me. Thank you for your info and video

You asked why the sides need more help with absorption versus the center. it is because the sides are cooked more, slightly browned and harder in texture (less moisture content but more sugar carmelization at the edges). Therefore the edges will be less absorbent and need more time than the center. You could sauce the edges first as you did and leave it to sit for 10-15 minutes before finishing the center.

High Sweet girl. I watch your show even when I'm not trying your recipes because you keep me company. I feel like I have family in my kitchen or in my living room and I just love the way you are you're outspoken when you need to be but you're generally loving about it, I probably wouldn't be that way I probably would just burst out and let them have it when the viewers are mean and nasty and critical .thank you so much for being you don't change a thing you're great .I'm a grandmother, and that's old You're not old.

I made this today for my mans birthday! Can't wait to try it. Will update later! 💞 First time I have ever made this cake.

Update: the flavor was there, so yummy. But for some reason it came out really dense. What could I do to improve on that?
