I think you should have put another layer of frosting after the cake crumbs before you put in another layer of cake , so it binds together, and FYI I tried the frosting recipe, besides it’s too sweet, you should double the ingredients for frosting coz it’s not enough to make a thee layers . I mean it’s too sweet , so cut on sugar and put more cream cheese and butter instead . Just a suggestion 😀

i made the mistake of constructing the cake as shown instead of how the recipe instructs because i liked the visible cake crumbs between layers which you don't see in the original construction. Big mistake. because he way shown in this video doesn't over the crumbs with frosting there is nothing to stick the layers together since the crumbs themselves aren't sticky. the cake all falls to pieces when cut. i see the cake was not cut for this video. some advice: don't construct the cake this way!!

If you really want to stand out, Rachel, promptly reply to people who comment. Every person under 35 seems to have a channel. Yawn. Yawn. Despite what your parents told you, you're not that special. I've watched some of your videos, and your baking skills aren't that stellar. Being cute isn't enough. To set yourself apart from others, you ought to reply promptly to comments on your videos. If you don't have time to do that, either make time or stop posting videos.

Thanks for the video! FYI, about the baking powder in the frosting…In addition to the baking powder, Tosi includes a pinch of citric acid, which you omitted. The base plus the acid produces gas. In theory, this would make the frosting lighter and fluffier. However, since the frosting isn't exposed to heat, the effect would be minimal. Since you omitted the citric acid, yes, you could omit the baking powder since it serves no purpose on its own.
